MASAHIROMARUYAMA is a Japanese luxury eyewear brand guided by its core philosophy of"Unfinished Art," born from a profound questioning of perfection. Ina standardized digital landscape, traditional 2D photography fails to presentthe multi-dimensional character of these hand-drawn, asymmetrical frames. Thisproject rejects generic e-commerce layouts to continuously execute holisticbrand design on the digital canvas. By integrating experimental technology withcultural reinterpretation, we established a new genre of "InteractiveDigital Fashion Portraits," converting this precise brand philosophy intoa tactile, immersive web experience.
"untitled": Subverting generic, sterile AI visual trends, we paradoxically used machine learning to create asubtle, mask-peeling effect. This drives a philosophical brand design approach, forcing a vital question upon the audience: "How does AI technology affect our inherent humanidentity?"
Collection “step” successfully combines lightweight yet high-quality Gaussian Splatting—a cutting-edge 3D capture technology—with traditional polygon 3D. Optimized for PlayCanvas, it creates a new experience. The“Kintsugi” collection reimagines classical Japanese Rakugo storytelling for contemporary sensibilities, drawing inspiration from its core concept. In-contrast, previous collections like “monocle” “doodle” and “broken”deliberately eschewed video. To maximize each collection's unique character, we created 360-degree animated content from 144 high-resolution still images per-collection.

Given our global target market, we have built the entire site through extensive testing. This ensures the collection presentation is intuitively understandable worldwide, while keeping the UI/UX as simple as possible without compromising usability.
